Select & Better represents an industry-recognized classification encompassing a blend of the top three lumber grades available commercially. The fundamental criteria for this designation are as follows:

• Provide at least 83% clear cuttings on one side
• Board size must be at least 4″ wide and 6′ long

All of our pre-cut lumber no matter the size comes from a single board that meets or exceeds these basic requirements. We understand that most of your projects require the utmost attention to detail so we prepare our S4S lumber with that in mind; keeping the wonky characters away from these boards.
