Soft Maple | Acer rubrum
This wood shares Hard Maple’s tight grain pattern, but offers significantly less density. It’s user-friendly for woodworking, performing well in turning and planing operations. Its surface is naturally smooth, eliminating the need for fillers to achieve a polished look. The wood readily accepts both paint and other finishes.
